Cynthia Morgan burst into the limelight in 2014 following the release of two singles- “Don’t Break My Heart” and “Lead Me On”. The latter single got nominated for “Best Reggae/Dancehall Single” at the 2014 Headies Awards but it lost out to Patoranking’s “Girlie O Remix”.
However, in 2015 she edged out the other nominees to win the same award she had lost out on the previous year for her infectious club banger “German Juice” that received widespread airplay and rave reviews from critics.
Last year, she released another single, “Baby Mama” and she recently released the song’s accompanying video. “Baby Mama” is a catchy dancehall tune that continues in the same vein as most of her previous songs. Typical of most dancehall videos, it features lots of dancing and it’s a song certain to get you dancing and in a party mood.
