excuse to win.” The words are coming from the extremely energetic man behind The Ideas Company, Eric Thimba.

“We come up with cool ideas to help solve business problems as well as introduce new products and ideas into the market like the MOOKH LP Player”, he continues. The company started when George Gachui and Eric Thimba after numerous sessions of coming up with what they believed were great ideas for the Kenyan market. After a while they decided that talk is cheap and that they should actually turn all these ideas into tangible business opportunities.

“When you look at the way brands market their products and services it’s astoundingly boring and mundane. Kenya’s population is made up primarily of young consumers but if you were to look at the marketing space alone you would think that Kenya’s population was only 50 and above. There is very rarely ever any unique value proposition to the consumer,” says Eric. The company recently introduced the MOOKH Portable LP Player, a portable vinyl record player that connects to your speakers to play your vinyl records as well as convert them into mp3 files.
