1: Beano:
Dennis the Menace and Gnasher took us around on their naughty adventures making our ribs crack. We wanted to be as fast as Billy Whizz, hang out with Rodger the Dodger and keep up with Minnie the Minx (She was just the female version of Dennis) It was loaded with laughs, jokes, pranks and every edition came with a giveaway.
What do elves use to make sandwiches? Shortbread.
2: Dandy:
They had the cutest little characters. Cuddles and Dimples were always out to get their folks, Beryl the peril was just nasty! Desperate Dan was the strongest man in the world with his best friend Korky the Kat. Remember Bananaman? He got a friend to eat so many bananas, she didn’t get super powers though, she just threw up!
3: Archie:
Veronicah was sweet, Sabrina, the bitch witch and Archie the man in the middle. Jughead was the man with insatiable appetites. These comics made our pre teen years. If it didn’t feature in yours, there’s always time to catch up!
