Nigeria’s Waje embarks on a maiden Tour of East Africa
Kenya is fast attracting stars from all over the world and the afro- queen, Waje is not one to be left behind.
If there were a textbook case of a city that has been spoiled by celebrity visits this year, then Nairobi should be it.
Every week, an act, continentally feted or internationally acclaimed, makes a stop here- some do it secretly while others do it officially with the entourage and red carpet shenanigans.
And now, Aituaje Iwobe (also known as Waje), the afro-queen is embarking on her maiden East African tour.
Waje, an acronym for ‘words aren’t just enough’, brings her Nigerian flow and her three octaves vocal range to the Kenyan capital.
A confirmation email from Red Group PR Limited (Kenya), partnering with Wild Flower PR (Nigeria) states that Waje will be in Nairobi on July 2nd, followed by Tanzania and Uganda.
The actress and ‘Choco Baby’ hit singer will hold interviews, meet her fans up close and candid, perform and host her fans for a night of African acoustics.
The tour also comes with charity duties for the single mother star who intends to live a mark in the three countries- targeting music, soul and hearts of those who will join her in this outstanding and one of a kind journey.
