UP Music- New Video Alert: Dela’s ‘Mafeelings’

Recording labels and PR gurus come up with impressive marketing tricks for brands.This was no different when it came to the release of Dela’s hit track ‘Mafeelings’ - they led everyone to believe there was a rivalry brewing between DJ Pierra Makena and Dela.

The claims went that Dela had sworn to put DJ Pierra in her place with this banger, especially after a reported incident that happened before the release of the song. The two were allegedly spotted at an uptown classy joint having a heated argument over a mutual male friend. An observer claimed that the fight was stopped before it got too physical.The rumored incident is precisely what Clarence Peters captures in the brand new video.

The track opens with Pierra advising a sobbing Dela to leave the man. Dela is painfully remembering how she found an orange bra in his car.

“If you are not enough, you are not enough, right?” implores Pierra Makena. She goes on to add, “Just let it be. And he cheats everywhere.”

Clarence Peters vision saw Dela give a dynamic performance in the video, letting her fans know that she too knows how to get down. And while we’re on the topic of amazing dancing, Kamba House King, Boneless Thyaka makes a cameo appearance with his dance twists on the video.

The club banger ‘Mafeelings’ released earlier in this month of November received much love and support, instantly trending on Twitter and receiving massive airplay regionally. It even saw Dela get invited to launch the track in Uganda.
