Kenyans are counting down the hours before the Pope arrives later on today in Nairobi at 5p.m. The Pope will visit Kenya, Uganda and finish the visit in the Central African Republic.

“Unlike the visit by [Obama] when the government encouraged Kenyans to stay at home, we are encouraging Kenyans to flock into the city in their numbers to cheer the pope and celebrate mass with him,” said presidential spokesperson, Manoah Esipisu.
