Between the Lines- Short Film

Shot in under 3 hours in one location, The Phoenix Players Kenya, this low budget film was shot with the Canon 5D mark ii with a Canon 50mm f1.8 only. This is the first of many projects directed by Likarion Wainaina done as part of the club cinema project.

Angels of Ghostown with Mike Otieno

Post election violence of 2007, a few residents of Kibera came together to transform the place from filth to purpose. Professor Mike Otieno is one of them and has dedicated his life to use Martial Arts to change the people of the slum. This video is his story of fighting to serve the people, especially in a country where the government do not. They train in Martial Arts, Dancing, and reputable street-art. They are currently in talks with the owners of the plot to entrust them with the space to continue using it as a social centre for positive change.
