Just A Band - Probably For Lovers

Recorded mostly off their phones, the awesome friends of Just A Band present the official video for “Probably For Lovers”. In backyards, near clothes lines, in studios and squares, on staircases, in cafés and bedrooms, on hillsides and bus stops, all over the world and in Kenya Just A Band fans and friends sing the song.

Rabbit - Tulia Tu ft HHP & Wangechi

Produced by Kevin Provoke & Tim Rimbui and directed by Enos Olik this Kaka Empire presentation is colourful and vintage. From the beats to the cinematography the song takes us way back to a less complex time when rappers stood in front of the camera and spat lines. Wangechi, HHP and Rabbit have easy flow and swag for days in this cool, laid back video.

Nitabaki Na Nini (What Will I Remain With?)

Released at the recent Kings of the Arena concert at Alliance, the video was shot at the magnificent Pawa254 rooftop and is compelling and dramatic. “50 years later and we are still divided. Thousands have died. Political violence will kill us all.” Are words repeated throughout the song as the writers Sarabi, Juliani, H_art the Band, Tear Drops, Gacahago and Berry ask “What will Kenyans be left with after our leaders have stolen every resource?”
The Concept and Direction is by Sam Soko, the video Produced by Saint P with cinematography by James Quest and Likarion Wainaina. Kudos Lightbox Studios and Pawa254 for the powerful production.
