What are you Wearing?

Who says that denim and denim can’t enhance a chic look? This stylish guy, Vincent Libosso (Writer), is definitely rocking it with the jacket and the rugged-jeans. We do not only see his creativity when it comes to writing, but also when it comes to style and swag.

We tried to give a name to this look and this is what he had to say. “I just love being very experimental with a variety of looks, this will mainly go for an Afro-Urban look, a style that am in love with.”

Starting from top to bottom, we notice the Nigerian head-gear, a gift from his father whom he draws a lot of dressing inspiration from.

Then there’s the African printed denim jacket which he bought from the designer, Christine Gogo, who is biased towards male designs.

The jeans are definitely a statement.These were styled by his brother who has an eye for pairing stuff. (Another inspiration within the family).

The white socks have an interesting story behind them: “My mom bought them for me and insisted that white socks are for clean people!”

Lastly, we can’t pretend that the brown boots haven’t caught our eyes. He however has localised a name that best suits them- the Kavunjas, Sheng’ language meaning shoes that can break almost anything. These were a gift from his friend. We are clearly not the only ones who love him and his style.
