You Can Run But You will Be Found!
A new page on Facebook has been raising a storm on the interwebs. Why? you ask.
Well, the page, Dead Beat Kenya, is exposing parents who have neglected their parental duties. The closed group already has over sixty one thousand members, most of whom are just spectators looking for a little entertainment. The others are there to air their stained linen. Granted, some of the men pinned on that wall are useless sacks of something we cannot mention, others are just there because of some malicious agenda.
It is an old recurring tale, when a man sires a child and runs like his heels are on fire. Only showing their faces when the child has performed a certain fete of brilliance like in the case of Samuel Wanjiru and Pamela Jelimo. Every man who’d so much as hugged their mothers was lining up to lay claim on the children and consequently their hard earned bounty. One of the most public people to be exposed on the page is Prezzo. His Ex-wife posted on the page claiming that he has not supported the child since she was two years old yet he goes round claiming he spoils her rotten. He probably just spoilt her perception of men.
It’s a shame that some of these women know nothing more of their kids’ fathers other than a nickname or one name. That says something ladies. However, it takes two to tango. So, regardless of how the child was conceived, it is the responsibility of both parties to raise that child. The only question is, is exposing them assurance enough that they will take up their responsibilities? Sure, they will react out of embarrassment but for how long?
So men, go through all your past sexual encounters, find out if you have a child with any of them and start doing something about it lest you find your face and contacts on Dead Beat Kenya.
