In 2014 Kenya Fashion Awards had created a category - Student Fashion Designer of the Year. Our ambition is to bring up the most promising talents in fashion by giving them platform, visibility and mentor-ship.

Students from different colleges and universities across the country are participating in the competition.

This Year’s Awards come with a twist. Young designers will be charged with a tough assignment of dressing the soulful music band, ELANI. After being shortlisted 20 students are working on a capsule collection for the trio, who will also be making appearance as

guest judges in the panel. Only one will be recognized as a Student Fashion Designer of the Year 2015!
