Does your mobile phone have a built in hi-resolution camera? Show us your “Nairobi in Motion!” capture portraits of your interactions with the people, places and things that captivate you about Nairobi.
Are there people in your daily interactions whose story captivates you?
What imagery do you see in your daily life that demonstrates the idea of ‘Nairobi in Motion’?
What about Nairobi moves you, personally?
How is a camera-enabled mobile phone in Nairobi a medium of storytelling?
People: Create a portrait of a citizen of Nairobi that is fascinating—be it the matatu driver, the CEO, the local mama at the market, a U.N. aid worker, a bartender or the next inventor of the next Facebook; even Nairobi itself can be the lead character in your story.
Places and things: There’s more to Nairobi than meets the eye. We want a glimpse into a culture, an event, place or a person that is not often portrayed in the mainstream media.
