Jitu Films and Capri 7 Bar & Grill present the second free screening of a Kenyan film. Jackie Nyaminde (Wilbroda), Ian Kamburu, Samuel Odoyo, Lydia Gitachu, Kevin Onyango and Lulu Abdallah Said star in ‘Matatu Girl’. The film centers on Frida, a young modern Kenyan girl whose dreams of University education are dashed when her father refuses to pay the tuition fees. He’d rather have his daughter married off and become a housewife like every ‘good Kenyan girl’. Despite her father’s refusal Frida secretly searches for a part time job in order to gather money for her fees. After many unsuccessful job interviews and out of desperation she accepts a job offer as a Matatu tout.
