She loves the finer things in life. “My name’s Winnie and I’m addicted to shoes.”

From shoes, to picking clothes, dressing up to her favorite part, getting ready, this hair and make-up lover cum blogger, seems set on inspiring others through her fashion enthusiasm and spirit.

A Kenyan law student by day, and blogger on her free time, Winnie Awino has been nominated in this year’s Kenya Fashion Awards, in the Fashion blogger of the year category 2015.

Best shopping rule you stick by?

”Buy less, choose well, make it last” . I picked that up from Vivienne Westwood, the designer.

Flowers or chocolates?

Flowers. They’re love without the calories. Plus I’m losing the battle with cavities.

Worst fashion mistake ever committed?

Buying some low quality shoes just because they were cheap.

Flats or heels?

I think somewhere in the world they’ve invented heels that can be converted into flats. I’d rather that.

Animal print versus African print?

I’m gravitating more towards African print at the moment.

Favourite part of your body to dress…

My curves.
