AFRI-NA-LADI presents MASHUJAA
A week of artistic events curated by Jojo Abot, celebrating Nairobi’s local heroes and creative community in and around the city.
AFRI-NA-LADI is a multimedia artist residency featuring talented Kenyan creatives that explores minimalism in the arts. Individual creative drive and vision lie at the forefront of Jojo’s process, and over three months AFRI-NA-LADI has worked to empower and platform young creatives in Nairobi through workshops, interactive sessions and performance. During the final week it will be moving around the city, exploring the meeting and crossing of artists from different backgrounds and peripheral communities in Nairobi.

Cocktail With A Cause
The Cocktail With A Cause acts as a crowdsourcing Platform and a great forum for advocacy on the matter. Despite the different parties’ interventions, we still have 6 out of 10 girls missing classes today due to menses.
At Young Jewels, we believe that every menstrual period should be an equally a ‘Feel Great’ experience for all women from all walks of life. We hereby supply sanitary towels to need girls in Primary schools as a class retention strategy
Join us as we fill our Pad Bank and keep a girl in Class!
