Ghanaian Singer Efya For Kenyan Performance
Award-winning 26-year-old Ghanaian singer-songwriter and composer Efya Awindor is expected to jet into the country in the morning of Wednesday 24th of April 2013 and will be performing at the Carnivore Lounge, in an event hosted by Tusker Malt 100 Club. Tusker Project Fame finalist Amileena Mwenesi will be curtain raising for Efya in the exclusive concert that promises to continue championing original African Music talent from our continent.
In 2008, Efya was the first runner up of Charter House talent search show Stars of the Future, and has since collaborated with various artists including R2Bees, Sarkodie, Sonny Bali & Nigerian acts SDC (Show Dem Camp). She is this year’s first artist to grace TM 100 Club and will take to the stage at 6 p.m.
The singer failed to arrive in Kenya as previously scheduled on Wednesday 24th April due to flight delays, but a statement from the organizers assured the press that she will arrive on 24th and will indeed perform as planned. Another press briefing has been scheduled tomorrow at 9.30 a.m. at The Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel and the UP Team will be present. We will update you on that.
