Mashujaa Day Celebration a Hit at Tree House

There is no better way to celebrate Mashujaa Day (Heroes Day) than with friends, Electrafrique DJs, Sarabi and the fantastic Angolan DJ, Renato Xtrova. On Sunday (20.10.2013), Nairobians came out to celebrate the public holiday and with DJ Cortega’s mix being on point, no one seemed to mind that the headliner, DJ Renato Xtrova, started his set after midnight.

The break out stars were Sarabi, whose passionate performance had Kenyan activist, Boniface Mwangi, dancing enthusiastically.

In between the ladies in tumbo-cuts and the cool guys trying to look cool, we spotted: Kagwe Mungai, Katungulu Mwendwa (Fashion Designer), Shappa Man(Camp Mulla) and Muthoni The Drummer Queen enjoying themselves.

Xtrova seamlessly blended house, African hits songs and other genres of music which inspired some members of the crowd to create dance moves never before seen on the Tree House dance floor. All was well though, as no one hurt themselves as far as we know.
