Italian institute of Culture
On April 28th The Embassy of Italy and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura invites members of the public to the inauguration of the exhibition of paintings by Italian artist Franco Accursio Gulino to mark 150 years of Italian unification.

Gulino’s works transfer to a visual level an intercultural reality that is deeply rooted in peoples’ desire to interact. The artist’s multiform production appears like the artistic transposition of this continuous traveling, real and metaphorical, done by the human being since his appearance on the Earth.

Gulino’s passionate reflection, dedicated to the relationships between places, cultures and people in motion, thus naturally opens up to Sub-Saharan Africa in general and to Kenya in particular, because it is right here, on the shores of Lake Turkana that the origins of mankind and therefore also the beginning of our long journey are placed. The exhibition runs daily from 10:30am to 6pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
