Marek Fuchs - How To Take the Perfect Selfie

Marek Fuchs has been managing Kenyan heartthrobs Sauti Sol for little over a year. In the time he has worked with the group, they have toured all over Africa, Europe and the United States. Born in Czech Republic, Marek moved to South Africa when he was ten, where he ended up spending the better part of the following decade.

Marek’s life didn’t start out with with a determination to manage successful bands, it just sort of happened. His initial work in Kenya focused on Corporate Social Value (which he explains as the next step up from Corporate Social Responsibility) and he founded his own company, Africa Centric, which focuses on creating sustainable business solutions for companies looking to invest in Africa.

Marek rewards his instagram followers with exciting pictures of his adventures with the Sautis across Africa and beyond. His selfies are so great that UP magazine couldn’t resist interviewing him on Twitter for the “How to” 140 character series.

Yes. I take all the pictures on Instagram myself

2) What would you say is the single most important thing to think about when taking a selfie?

Don’t think! Just snap away!

3) How important is light? What do you do when there isn’t enough?

Light is life! No light, no selfie. p.s alternatively use a flash or start a fire 😉
