Absolut Vodka Challenge Final

The grand finale of the Absolut Vodka Mixology challenge takes place on December 10 at Mercury Lounge, ABC Place. Winners from the past three heats will compete for KES 100,000 cash prize, as well as a fully paid trip to train with the pros at the ABSOLUT Vodka headquarters in Sweden. The runner up and third place winners will receive a cash prize of KES 50,000 and KES 25,000 respectively.

During the first heat at Sankara Hotel, Robert Nyagah (Fairmont The Norfolk) won with his signature cocktail ABSOLUT Konfusion in October. At the second heat, King’kline Ojal took the lead with his cocktail, The Mint, at Sierra Brasserie. During the third heat at Galileo Lounge, David Kinyua (Tribeka Lounge) with his ABSOLUT Camilla cocktail, and Evelyn Wairimu (Mercury Lounge, ABC) with her signature cocktail ABSOLUT Ginger Diva, shared first place.

These finalists will be drawn in a face-off at Mercury from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m on Tuesday, December 10, to compete for the grand prize. You can come earlier to watch the Media mixology challenge between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Call a few friends to watch this entertaining event where Capital FM’s Susan Wong, XFM’s Fareed Khimani and a representative from the Pernod Ricard Kenya office will be judging.
