25th August: Checkmate Mido Live
Venue: Treehouse Club

Get ready for an amazing performance by spoken word/beat boxer extraordinaire Checkmate Mido this coming Thursday at 9pm until 3am.


 

25th August2016: Thursday Nite Live
Venue: Choices - Baricho Road

Enjoy a rare night at Thursday Nite live jamming to unique music by Anyango, a Japanese goddess playing the Luo Nyatiti from 8pm - 11pm. No Cover charge!


 

26th August 2016: TICAD Drum Concert
Venue: Alliance Française

Through celebrating the 6th Tokyo International Conference on African Development, The Embassy of Japan presents a Japanese Drum Concert on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 7.00 pm at the Alliance Francoise in Nairobi . Gates open at 6.00pm. Entry is Free!



26th August - 27th August: The Final Shakedown
Venue:The Juniper Kitchen

All good things come to an end. The Final Shakedown will be happening at The Juniper Kitchen giving you the last chance to drink beer on old tomato crates, share your tales over wine and dance on tables after half a dozen tequila shots. That’s not all, J’s Fresh Bar & Kitchen‘s food truck will be serving up delicious burgers and bitings all week long (starting 6pm Wednesday). Let’s make this goodbye memorable!


 

26th August- 27th August: EA Wave and Friends
Venue: The Alchemist Bar- Parklands Road

The first edition of the EA and Friends series. They also have live art installations and pop up stores by friends from Bonkerz Kenya, Bongosawa Republik and Zamoyo all curated by the Afri-Na-Ladi team. Time: 7PM - 6AM

August 27th: Creamy Festival
Venue:Kenya Wildlife Service headquarters

For anyone with a sweet tooth, all roads are heading to the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) headquarters this Saturday for Creamy Festival! From 9am -8pm. Hurry and get your tickets at ksh. 800 Advance ticket and Ksh. 1000 at the gate.


 

August 27th: Wine tasting
Venue: Jacaranda Nairobi Hotel

Go the Italian way this Saturday and taste wines from South Africa and Italy, perfectly paired with cheese and canapes. It will be from 7pm - 10pm. You’ll get to do this with sommelier Juan Cambil! Tickets go at Ksh. 2000 and ksh. 2500 adavance and at the gate respectively.Divertiti!


27th August: Outdoor Movies and Grill
Venue: Karen Village

Nothing spells a weekend like movies and food! The Karen village will be hosting outdoor latest movies on manicured green grass and grilling up some nyama choma! It will be at 2pm till dawn, adults only! (18+). Advance tickets and tickets at the gate go for Ksh. 500 and Ksh. 800 only, respectively.Other entertainment will be by Dj Cout and Dj Blaze plus a live band by Prof. Karash.


27th August: Salsa Saturday
Venue: Galleria Shopping Mall

Dance the cold away at Galleria Shopping mall this Saturday at the Salsa Saturday session from 12pm - 3pm with Marion Munga. This session is interactive promoting cultural exchange.
