Colour and fashion are inextricable. While deep red has always symbolized bold, yellow has always called for attention (even on the safety lights). Every year has it’s trend colours. So what does 2016 have in store for us when it comes to colour in fashion?
We are looking into more of dual combinations. It surely takes two to tango this season. The colours we expect are seemingly shocking, yet delicious in sight.
Burnt Orange and Bright blue
You may have come across burnt orange on your walls and never imagined that it would look sane on your skirt. Well, 2016 has brought you this new bright idea that can bring out the chic in you. Combine it with bright blue and everyone will stop by to say hi.
Pink and Red
While these colours are shades of each other, they have for a long time not been considered a good combo. Gucci’s Allesandro Michele has added a retro spin to what was once for the 70s and 80s party girl.
Yellow and Red
These two are really bright. A yellow and red combo - at first thought you might think clown-like… However, a plain yellow dress and a red pair of pants will turn you from gloomy to glamour, especially during the sunny month of January.
Pale Pink and Baby Blue
How dull does that sound? But 2016 will surprise you with how this combination turns out just right, especially for slouchy shapes.
Forest green and neon pink
Who ever thought that green and pink would ever find themselves on the same body, if it’s not for a sports gear? Well, 2016 proves otherwise.
So cheer up and gear up for the impossible possibles this time, with colour.
