Railways Museum
Every year UP Nairobi throws a birthday bash to celebrate the arts, music and creative culture that is the backbone of our magazine. Every year we bring the content of UP Nairobi alive through a main stage, art installations, film screening and cool chillout areas with awesome food. The Railway Museum is the perfect retro-industrial backdrop for one of the craziest parties of the year.
The full line-up has been announced and features an amazing live MC talent from Copenhagen and a UP Live house band, called “The Railroad Funk Allstars” starring Makadem.
It all starts with the “Bring the Sun Down Session” with a happy hour and web series screening from the Nest (5:30PM to 7:30PM), with a BOGOF offer on selected cocktails.
At 8:00PM the Afro Disco set starts with some incredible live acts. Get your disco moves going on the dance floor or explore the UP LIVE scene with a shisha tent by Tribe Hotel, and the Silent Disco at the Red Light district. At midnight the rave begins, with top Kenyan DJs and our international star headliners: ALO WALA.
