“Milk is the drink of babies, tea the drink of women, and water the drink of beasts…but wine, wine is the drink of the gods.” John Stuart Blackie sure got it right. Unfortunately, when they talk wine, the take us to the far-off lands of Australia, France and Italy. They forget that right here at home, we make it. We call it Leleshwa wine, and it is made from the locally grown grapes of Naivasha’s Morendat Vineyard.
