The Strathmore Drama Society presents ‘The Lady from the Sea’ a story about a woman haunted by her own past. Synopsis:
Confronted by the skeletons in her closet, Elida Wema finds herself haunted by secrets from her past; secrets she thought so well hidden. A battle that puts the ideals of love, betrayal, temptation and marriage to the test ensues. With it, a tough decision has to be made: whether to stay with her old husband who loves her so much but with whom she feels like a prisoner or to follow a stranger whom she barely knows but promises her freedom, freedom that comes at a great cost.
