The National Youth Orchestra of Kenya will be holding a fundraising concert at the Intercontinental, Nairobi. The event dubbed ‘An evening of classical music’ will be in support of the organization. The National Youth Orchestra’s (NYO) vision is to bring together musically gifted youth from around the country regardless of their socio-economic, ethnic or regional background to form the first national orchestra.Tickets are Kshs. 6,000 and are available at Art of Music, Hurlingham House Argwings Kodhek Road. The ‘Drawing East Africa: Early maps from 1860-1890’ exhibition runs at the Embassy of Spain in Upper Hill, CBA building at the junction of Mara and Ragati Roads.
