Description
The Coastal edition of Alliance Française’s “Spotlight” series will feature various genres, including Taarab, Gonda, Sengenya, Mabumbumbu and Mwanzele. Many of these genres are rich in rhythmic percussion, while others are imbued with Arabian and Indian musical influences. The public event kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
