Headgear has always been a huge part of fashion and is now becoming a must have in any closet. Your fashion pick can range from a casual ball cap, the playful trapper hat or the alluring turban, the strongest fashion statement of all.
The androgynous style has received little attention by the Kenyan fashion and street-style scenes. For some, the mention of the term "androgyny" may conjure up images of style icons such as Grace Jones or David Bowie circa 1972. For the classic film lover, Victor Victoria (Mark Bernstein) starring Julie Andrews may spring to mind. But what is androgyny?
Two trends that have really been making rounds this Spring/Summer or “Winter” for us who are in the Southern hemisphere are mint and neon hues. Mint hues are not just about bright blue, they also include pastel yellow, baby pink, sky blue and lilac.
